DAY OF TOURIST ORGANIZATION OF NIS CELEBRATED

In symbolic way TON Nis celebrated its jubilee - 1700 Anniversary of the battle at the Milvian bridge and its own Celebration day with placing description table by the monument at Nisava quay with appropriate text in Serbian, English, French, German and Italian languges. The monument was raised in the honor of the Emperor Constantine and has on its basis the mark 312 when the battle at the Milvian Bridge took place and when before the battle Constantine the Great saw Christ Monogram with the message `In hoc signo vinces`Only one year after, still under the strong impression of victory with the faith in Holly Cross, Constantine brought Milan Edict.

`The task of all of us is that the Anniversary of Milan Edict we can use for the improvement of the town and in that sense every individual contribution is needed`, said during this occasion PhD Zoran Perisic, Mayor of the City of Nis. He announced the beginning of the work of the office for the celebration of this significant jubilee. All citizens will be able to contribute in given term with their own prepositions so that the celebration could be realized in the best way. According to Mayors words, the jubilee of Milan Edict does not belong only to a group of people but to all of them who love Nis.In the presence of many guests, representatives of local authorities, institutions, public enterprises and organizations, the Day of TON was celebrated in `Serbia` Gallery.

In the name of Palilula Municipality Boban Dzunic, president wished successful work to newly elected director of TON Uros Parlic.

The visitors of this gallery area could also see the exhibition of souvenirs with St Emperor Constantine head motive, as well as the presentation of the trailer of short film about this great Emperor.
